The teaser does reveal some interesting details of the new Heritage Edition. The car appears to have a dark exterior with metallic stripes on the bonnet. The interior is trimmed in leather with a green checkered pattern on the seats.

While technical details are unclear, rumors suggest that the new 911 Heritage Edition could be based on the Carrera GTS. If it’s true, then it will be powered by the new T-Hybrid powertrain. It uses a 3.6-liter flat-six engine paired with a single electric turbocharger and a traction motor that sits between the engine and the 8-speed PDK. It makes 534 hp and 450 lb-ft of torque.

We’ve been told that production will be limited to 1250 units. Order books are now open.
