Chrome Bugatti Chiron ‘La Mer Argentee’ could sell for $3 million at auction

The Bugatti Chiron ‘La Mer Argentee’ is the world’s most expensive mirror on wheels and certainly the fastest. It will be on sale at the RM Sotheby’s Paris auction on January 31, 2024.

This chrome Bugatti was one of the first three Chirons delivered. It has the familiar dual-tone split, however, instead of a contrasting color, the owner opted for a polished finish. The result is this unique spec dubbed ‘Silver Sea’ with an Argent Metallic front and Nocturne rear. It also has an Argent Metallic horseshoe grille with the ‘EB’ logo.

The wheels on the Chiron ‘La Mer Argentee’ are polished to match the exterior, while the brake calipers are painted red. On the interior, it has Beluga Black leather with Italian Red quilting.

This car left the factory as a standard Chiron. However, it was upgraded in 2019 with the Performance Package that included a tweaked suspension setup from the Chiron Sport, polished aluminium wheels, and a carbon fibre windshield wiper.
