The 2024 Honda Prologue hasn’t been on sale long, but a few that have reached new owners need to return to the dealership for repairs.
Honda has recalled just 39 Prologue SUVs, all built between April 10 and April 14 of this year, because a suspension part can fracture, making them hard to control.
Honda tells federal safety officials at the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) that aluminum extruded to make the right front lower control link may be weaker than specified. The part can fracture, which could compromise control of the vehicle.
Honda knows of no accidents or injuries related to the problem.
Dealers will inspect the component and, if necessary, replace it with a new one.
